🇨🇿 🇵🇱 We are thrilled to report that the online webinar which took place on Tuesday, April 23, "Beyond the Border: Security Cooperation between the Czech Republic and Poland," jointly hosted by The Polish Forum of Young Diplomats and the Junior Diplomat Initiative, was a resounding success. 🤝 During the event, attendees had the privilege of gaining valuable insight into the intricacies of Czech-Polish relations from distinguished experts Kristýna Helm and Krzysztof Debiec. Kristýna Helm, Vice President of the Czech Defence and Security Industry Association, shared enlightening perspectives on EU and NATO cooperation opportunities. Krzysztof Debiec, Senior Fellow at the Center for Eastern Studies, offered invaluable diplomatic insight, enriched by his tenure at the Polish Embassy in Prague. 🙌 Thanks to all who participated. Your active involvement made this webinar a truly enriching experience!

✈️ This April, Junior Diplomat Initiative organized a study trip to Geneve, Switzerland 🇨🇭. 🌐 We visited The Permanent Mission of the Czech Republic to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations, where we had the opportunity to participate in a discussion with diplomats there. 🎓 We also visited the CERN museum and the International Red Cross museum. By invitation, we attended a panel discussion on the future of diplomacy with distinguished guests Tan Hung Seng, Singapore's Permanent Representative to the WTO and WIPO, Hiddo Houben, Deputy Head of the Permanent Mission of the EU to the WTO and Michael Kolie, Trade Policy Analyst at the WTO, hosted by @jdigeneve. 💙 We are grateful for the new opportunities that this trip has offered us and for the great experiences that have opened the world of diplomacy for us.

📌 Dne 12. dubna 2024 úspěšně proběhla akce pořádaná Junior Diplomat Initiative – diskuse s belgickým velvyslancem v České republice. 🌐 J.E. Jurgen Van Meirvenne sdílel své cenné pohledy a zkušenosti z profesního života diplomata. Se studenty diskutoval o aktuálních otázkách týkajících se vztahů nejen v Evropě, ale i o vztazích globálního charakteru. Jurgen Van Meirvenne shared valuable insights and experience from his diplomatic career. He engaged with students on current issues not only concerning relations in Europe but also on matters of global significance. He also inspired students with observations and explanations on various diplomatic topics. 🌟 We thank all who participated in this inspiring event!

📌 Ve úterý 9. dubna 2024 se na půdě Ministerstva zahraničních věcí ČR uskutečnila akce "Ženy v diplomatickém světě", pořádaná Junior Diplomat Initiative. Událost přinesla zajímavou diskusi na téma účasti žen v diplomacii. 🎙️ Naši hosté z Ministerstva zahraničních věcí ČR a Zastoupení Evropské komise v ČR – Veronika Mítková, Andrea Kučerová, Jana Hybášková a Eva Horelová – sdíleli své bohaté zkušenosti v oblasti diplomatického působení. Spolu s moderátorkou doc. Ing. Mgr.
